Scarabeo Bucket — Circular Countertop Washbasin in Nine Colours
The Scarabeo Bucket (model 8807) is the countertop washbasin in the Bucket collection at Sardar & Co — the lay-on version of the award-winning Bucket design that sits on top of a vanity counter or shelf rather than hanging from the wall. At 42cm diameter, the Bucket countertop is a circular ceramic basin that lays on the counter surface, rising from the counter plane in the Bucket collection's signature circular bucket form.
The Bucket collection was designed by Italian architect Giovanna Talocci and introduced by Scarabeo in 2012. The concept: a washbasin that resembles a bucket — informal, playful, yet crafted in premium Italian ceramic with the precision and finish quality that has earned it the DesignPlus 2013 and Silver A'Design Award 2014. The Bucket countertop (8807) and the Bucket R wall-hung (8804) share the same design language, the same nine-colour palette, and the same Made in Italy Scarabeo ceramic quality — the choice between them is purely installation: countertop on a vanity versus wall-hung without a vanity.
Nine colour options — White, Ardesia, Glossy Musk, Matt Musk, Matt Night, Matt Sand, Matt Tobacco, Matt Ocean, Pearl — make the Bucket 8807 the most colour-diverse countertop washbasin at Sardar & Co. The circular form in any of these nine colours creates a basin that is simultaneously a bathroom design object and a fully functional wash basin.
Available exclusively at Sardar & Co. Call 0300-0341288 for pricing across all nine colours.
⚠ Specification note:
No overflow: The Bucket countertop washbasin is specified without overflow. A running tap left unattended will overflow the basin. Specify a flow-restricting or auto-shutoff tap. Contact Sardar & Co at 0300-0341288 for compatible single-hole tap recommendations.

Bucket Countertop vs Bucket R Wall-Hung — Choosing the Right Installation
Two Bucket models are available in the Scarabeo Bucket collection at Sardar & Co. The installation method is the only meaningful difference:
| Specification | Bucket 8807 (this) — Countertop | Bucket R 8804 — Wall Hung |
|---|---|---|
| Installation | Lay-on countertop — sits on vanity | Wall-hung — mounts to wall |
| Counter/vanity needed | Yes — sits on counter surface | No — mounts directly to wall |
| Diameter / Width | 420mm circular | 400mm circular width |
| Overflow | None | None |
| Colours | 9 — same palette | 9 — same palette |
| Design | Giovanna Talocci — same concept | Giovanna Talocci — same concept |
| Awards | DesignPlus 2013, Silver A'Design Award 2014 | DesignPlus 2013, Silver A'Design Award 2014 |
| Best for | Vanity cabinet or counter installations | Space-saving wall-mounted bathrooms |
Choose the Bucket 8807 countertop when a vanity unit or counter is part of the bathroom specification — the circular basin sits on the counter, no wall modification needed. Choose the Bucket R 8804 wall-hung when wall mounting without a counter is the design intent — saves floor space, the basin floats from the wall. Contact Sardar & Co at 0300-0341288 for guidance.
The Nine Colour Finishes
The same nine-colour palette available on the Bucket R wall-hung is available on this countertop washbasin — the complete Bucket collection colour range:
White — classic premium white. The standard specification for all bathroom palette directions. Universally compatible.
Ardesia — slate grey. Cool sophisticated mid-tone grey for contemporary grey-palette bathrooms.
Glossy Musk — warm nude gloss. Warm skin-toned gloss ceramic for warm natural-material bathroom palettes.
Matt Musk — warm nude matte. Same warm musk tone in a diffused matte finish for matte-palette warm-toned bathrooms.
Matt Night — deep matte black. The most design-forward colour. For dark-palette bathrooms with matte black hardware throughout.
Matt Sand — sandy matte. Pale sandy-warm matte for coastal, warm-neutral, and sandy-palette bathroom specifications.
Matt Tobacco — warm dark brown matte. Rich warm dark brown — the warmest, most unusual colour in the Bucket range. For dark warm-material bathroom palettes.
Matt Ocean — cool teal matte. The only coloured (non-neutral) finish in the Bucket range. For coastal, spa, and blue-green accent bathroom directions.
Pearl — warm iridescent off-white. Premium pearl-toned ceramic between white and cream with subtle luminous quality.

Where the Scarabeo Bucket Countertop Washbasin Performs Best
Premium vanity bathrooms — circular vessel on counter
For Pakistan's premium bathrooms specifying a vanity cabinet with a statement basin on top, the Scarabeo Bucket 8807 countertop washbasin in 420mm circular form creates a basin specification that reads as a designed object on the vanity surface. A circular ceramic basin on a rectangular vanity creates the vessel-on-shelf composition increasingly specified in Pakistan's premium residential and hospitality bathrooms — the basin as a considered object placed on the counter, not a flush-mounted fitting integrated into it. In White or Pearl on a light marble or stone counter; in Matt Night or Ardesia on a dark stone or concrete counter.
Compact vanity and shelf specifications
The Bucket countertop's 420mm diameter makes it the correct circular vessel specification for compact single vanity units and bathroom shelves where a larger oval or rectangular basin would be disproportionate. On a slim bathroom shelf or a narrow vanity cabinet, the Bucket's compact circular form provides an adequate and visually proportioned basin surface without overwhelming the counter width.
Boutique hospitality — award-validated design credentials
Pakistan's boutique hotels and premium hospitality spaces specifying countertop washbasins for guest bathrooms and washrooms benefit from the Bucket collection's award credentials. The DesignPlus 2013 and Silver A'Design Award 2014 provide third-party design validation that premium hospitality specifications require when the basin selection must be justified to ownership or brand standards. The nine-colour palette ensures the Bucket countertop can be matched to each bathroom's individual material direction across a multi-room project.
Commercial premium washrooms
Pakistan's premium commercial washroom sector — premium restaurant washrooms, boutique retail facilities, corporate office premium bathrooms — benefits from the Scarabeo Bucket countertop's Made in Italy ceramic quality, distinctive circular form, and nine-colour flexibility. A Matt Night Bucket countertop on a dark stone shelf in a premium restaurant washroom creates the design-forward basin specification that restaurant guests notice and remember.
