Scarabeo Hung — Narrow Washbasin at 220mm Depth | Pakistan
The Scarabeo Hung 1512 is the narrow washbasin in the Scarabeo range at Sardar & Co — a wall-mounted basin at just 220mm depth, projecting only 220mm from the wall into the bathroom space. Every other basin in the Bocchi and Scarabeo ranges at Sardar & Co is at least 360mm deep. The Hung at 220mm is 140mm shallower than the next most compact wall-mounted basin option — in a cloakroom, compact WC, or narrow bathroom space where 360mm of basin depth would make the room unusable, the Hung's 220mm projection is not a compromise but a specification that makes the room work.
The collection name "Hung" describes the installation precisely: wall-hung, without floor contact, without counter, without pedestal. The 600mm-wide basin floats from the wall at 220mm depth — the narrowest possible footprint for a 600mm ceramic basin in the wall-mounted format. A 600mm width provides a generous washing area at standard single-person basin scale; the 220mm depth compresses the front-to-back dimension to its minimum practical depth for a wall-mounted Italian ceramic basin.
Nine colour finishes — the same complete Scarabeo palette across every Scarabeo collection at Sardar & Co — make the Hung the only 220mm-deep narrow washbasin in nine colours available from any sanitaryware retailer in Pakistan's online market. Matt Night, Matt Ocean, Matt Tobacco, Pearl — colours absent from any standard Pakistani cloakroom basin — are all available on the Hung at 220mm compact depth.
Contact Sardar & Co at 0300-0341288 for pricing across all nine colour finishes.
⚠ Key specification notes:
No overflow: The Hung has no overflow aperture. The shallow 220mm depth means the basin fills quickly with a running tap. Specify a flow-restricting tap or mixer with auto shut-off.
Single tap hole: One pre-drilled tap hole — the Hung requires a single-hole basin mixer or monobloc tap. No deck space for separate hot and cold taps. Contact Sardar & Co at 0300-0341288 for compatible single-hole tap recommendations.

Why 220mm Depth Changes Everything — The Narrow Washbasin Explained
A standard wall-mounted basin projects 400–550mm from the wall. In a normal bathroom — 1200mm or more from basin wall to opposite wall — this is comfortable. In a cloakroom, compact WC, or narrow utility bathroom, the same basin projection is not comfortable: it consumes a third or more of the available floor width, leaves minimal clearance in front of the basin, and in the most compact spaces it physically prevents the door from opening properly.
The Scarabeo Hung at 220mm solves this constraint at the specification level. In a cloakroom 700mm wide (floor-to-basin-wall = 700mm), a standard 450mm-deep basin leaves 250mm of clearance in front — barely enough to stand. The Hung at 220mm depth leaves 480mm of clearance in front — a meaningful usable space in a compact cloakroom. In a WC that must accommodate a toilet and a narrow washbasin side by side on one wall, the Hung's 220mm projection allows both fixtures to coexist without the basin consuming the toilet's approach space.
For Pakistan's premium apartment and villa market — where compact guest WC rooms (typically 900mm × 1500mm or smaller) need both a WC and a washbasin — the Hung 220mm is the Italian ceramic basin that makes the compact specification work without resorting to plastic or standard-market wall-hung basins at standard depth.
The Scarabeo Hung in the Complete Scarabeo Wall-Mounted Basin Range
The Scarabeo range at Sardar & Co includes multiple wall-mounted basin options. The Hung's 220mm depth positions it at the ultra-compact end of this range:
| Product | Width | Depth | Installation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hung 1512 (this) | 600mm | 220mm | Wall mounted only |
| Glam 1811 | 550mm | 420mm | Countertop or wall hung |
| Glam 1812 | 750mm | 420mm | Countertop or wall hung |
| Fuji 70 | 710mm | 430mm | Wall mounted or lay-on |
| Bucket R | 400mm | 540mm tall | Wall hung |
The Hung at 220mm depth is in a different category from all other wall-mounted Scarabeo basins at Sardar & Co — it is a space-constraint solution, not a style choice. Contact Sardar & Co at 0300-0341288 to confirm the Hung is the correct specification for your bathroom dimensions.
The Nine Colour Finishes at 220mm Depth
White — the standard narrow washbasin specification. A 600mm white ceramic Hung on a cloakroom or compact WC wall is the correct Italian ceramic specification for a white-palette tight-space bathroom. Clean, hygienic, and premium quality at 220mm compact depth.
Ardesia — slate grey at 600mm narrow depth. For compact bathrooms or cloakrooms with a contemporary grey palette direction — the Hung in Ardesia creates a cool grey narrow basin specification at the most compact Italian ceramic depth at Sardar & Co.
Glossy Musk — warm nude gloss at ultra-shallow depth. A warm-toned narrow washbasin for cloakrooms with warm natural material directions — timber accessories, warm stone, terracotta tile.
Matt Musk — warm nude matte. The matte warm narrow washbasin at 220mm — for matte-palette compact bathrooms and cloakrooms.
Matt Night — deep matte black at 220mm. A 600mm matte black narrow washbasin floating from a cloakroom wall at only 220mm depth is the most design-forward compact washbasin specification at Sardar & Co. The dark form at minimum projection creates a precise dark statement in the most constrained bathroom format. Contact 0300-0341288 for pricing.
Matt Sand — sandy matte. Warm pale neutral for compact bathrooms with coastal and organic material directions.
Matt Tobacco — warm dark brown matte. The warmest narrow washbasin available at Sardar & Co — for compact bathrooms with timber and warm material palettes where a standard brown or warm dark ceramic basin is specified.
Matt Ocean — cool teal matte. A colour-accent narrow washbasin at 220mm. For cloakrooms and compact bathrooms where the basin is the room's only design statement — the teal colour in a minimal compact space creates maximum colour impact at minimum physical projection.
Pearl — warm iridescent off-white. The most refined neutral at 220mm depth — between white and cream with luminous depth. For compact bathrooms and powder rooms where standard white is too stark and a warm premium finish is the specification intent.
Where the Scarabeo Hung Performs Best
Cloakrooms and compact guest WCs — the primary application
The Hung 1512 is designed for the bathroom specification where 220mm depth is the constraint that makes the room work. Pakistan's premium residential and commercial properties include cloakrooms — standalone WC rooms typically 700–900mm wide × 1200–1500mm deep — where the basin must fit on the same or adjacent wall to the toilet without consuming all available floor width. The Hung at 220mm wall projection is the Italian ceramic narrow washbasin specification that fits these dimensions. In any colour across the nine Scarabeo finishes, the Hung delivers premium Italian ceramic quality in the most compact wall-mounted basin format at Sardar & Co. Contact 0300-0341288 for pricing.
Utility bathrooms and service areas
For Pakistan's premium residential developments that include utility bathrooms — staff bathrooms, laundry room wet areas, service corridor washrooms — the Hung provides a premium Italian ceramic narrow washbasin in a space-efficient format. The single tap hole configuration simplifies the tap specification in utility contexts. In White for clean utility bathrooms, or in any of the nine Scarabeo colours for service areas that are part of the home's designed interior.
Premium residential powder rooms — design at compact scale
For Pakistan's narrow powder rooms — a standalone hand-washing room separate from the main bathroom, common in DHA and Bahria Town premium villas — the Hung in Matt Night, Matt Ocean, or Pearl creates a luxury Italian ceramic narrow washbasin specification at the compact depth that fits a narrow powder room wall without consuming floor space. In Matt Ocean at 220mm depth on a narrow powder room wall, the Hung is a colour statement in the most compact premium basin format available at Sardar & Co.
Commercial washrooms — space-efficient Italian ceramic
For Pakistan's premium commercial washrooms — boutique retail, corporate office, premium restaurant — where compact, high-quality basin fixtures are specified in space-constrained positions, the Hung 1512 at 220mm depth provides Scarabeo Italian ceramic quality in a wall-mounted format that requires minimum floor space. In White or Ardesia for professional washroom environments, or in Matt Night for design-forward boutique commercial washrooms.
